PUBLIC EXPERIENCES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please note that registration is a firm commitment to attend the PUBLIC EXPERIENCE.
Any changes must be made AT LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR TO EVENT.
You will forfeit your ability to receive any refunds if changes aren't made 24 hours prior to a start of all Public Experience. You may reschedule up to 12 hours prior to event. A $15 rescheduling fee will apply for every guest that needs to be rescheduled. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Every participant should arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Instruction begins exactly at scheduled start time - no exceptions. Those who arrive 10 minutes after scheduled time will not be allowed to participate in the experience. Participants will forfeit that class and will not be eligible for a refund or reschedule. Please plan accordingly. We advise every guest to arrive 15 minutes prior to start of event.
Participant indemnifies and holds harmless Unarthodox from any damages, actions, suits, claims, or other costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any damage to any property or any injury caused to any person (including death) caused by the participant's use of the space, including any acts or omissions on the part of Unarthodox, its employees, officers, directors, independent contractors, or other agents. Unarthodox is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal property.
PRIVATE PARTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Terms and Conditions are a set of rules and guidelines that the Organizer must agree to in order to book a private event at Unarthodox.
Organizer may cancel the Event by notifying Unarthodox by providing notice twenty (20) days or more before the Event Date. In such an event, Unarthodox shall refund to Organizer the full amount of the party deposit. In the event that Organizer cancels within Nineteen (19) days of the Event Date, Unarthodox reserves the right to retain the full Deposit. Private events can be rescheduled up to 5 days prior to the scheduled event. A $150 fee will apply to all rescheduled parties. In the event that any one individual member of party cannot attend, refunds will NOT be issued if the change is not made within 5 days of scheduled event. It is the discretion of Unarthodox to reschedule private parties after the 5 day period. Unarthodox is not liable for issuing refunds in the unfortunate case of sickness or injury, if cancellation is made within 20 days of the event. In the event of inclement weather, such as severe snow or rain conditions, it is the discretion of Unarthodox on whether or not to reschedule or cancel an event. A rescheduling fee will not be charged if the change is made by Unarthodox.
Unarthodox offers full catering services, which includes all of the set-up, food management as well as clean-up. If organizer wishes to use their own catering company, a service and cleanup fee of $150 will be charged.
Unarthodox will be responsible for all of cleaning including but not limited to mopping and clearing all trash generated at the event. All garbage, including food will be disposed of in the proper containers in accordance to the New York City Department of Sanitation.
Beyond ordinary wear and tear, the organizer is responsible for any damage caused by organizer's or his/her guests', use of the Space. The Organizer shall arrange for the repair of any such damage. In the event that Organizer does not make any necessary repairs, Owner shall arrange for the same at organizers expense.
After the completion of the Event, the Organizer shall leave the Space in the same or similar condition as received from Unarthodox. All decorations should be taken down and discarded. Any rentals should be dismantled by Organizer and left out on hallway for pickup prior to the scheduled end of party.
Organizer hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Unarthodox from any damages, actions, suits, claims, or other costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with any damage to any property or any injury caused to any person (including death) caused by the Organizer’s use of the Space, including any acts or omissions on the part of Unarthodox, its employees, officers, directors, independent contractors, or other agents. Renter shall notify Unarthodox of any damage or injury of which it has knowledge in to, or near the Space, regardless of the cause of such damage or injury. Unarthodox is not responsible for any damaged, lost or stolen personal property.
Unarthodox shall have the right to cancel the event at any time prior to the event date, provided it gives organizer prior written notice of revocation. If Unarthodox cancels an event for reasons other than nonpayment or breach of the agreement by organizer, Unarthodox will reschedule the event or refund the organizer the full amount paid.
Photo and Video
Unarthodox holds the right to take photos and videos during public and private experiences for the purpose of providing clients with an editing complementary video of the experience. The short video created for each experience is not posted publicly. The client will receive a private link to a YouTube video and only those with this link will be able to view it. These photos and videos may occasionally be used for Unarthodox advertising and promotional purposes.
Neither Organizer or Unarthodox may assign or transfer their respective rights or obligations under these conditions without prior written consent from the other Party.
