We all need an outlet for self-care and relaxation, so why not explore this in a creative way?
This therapeutic workshop will provide an opportunity for centering, relaxation and meditative art making. Course will begin with deep breathing exercises and guided imagery to ease you into your creative practice. Instructor will give a brief history of mandalas and their significance and then invite you to create your own! A variety of circle forms and materials will be provided for options to choose what feels best. Instructor will model ways to use symmetry and alignment within mandala, to create patterns that bring balance.
With emphasis on process over product, this workshop will aid in relaxing your mind and body, while enlivening your creativity and self-expression. No prior art making experience needed at all!
